Game Day in Las Vegas: Where to Stay for Allegiant Stadium and T-Mobile Arena

July 19, 20265 min readElevated Rentals

Las Vegas has always known how to throw a party, and the arrival of world-class sports venues has taken that to another level. Whether you're descending on the city for a Raiders home game at Allegiant Stadium, catching a Golden Knights playoff run at T-Mobile Arena, or lining up for a sold-out concert at either venue, one thing is clear: a standard hotel room was never built for a crew. We've seen how game-day trips actually go — the pregame spread, the jersey photo ops, the post-game debrief that runs until 2 a.m. — and our homes are designed around exactly that kind of trip.

Why a Private Home Beats a Hotel on Game Day

Hotels are fine for solo business travel. For a group of eight, ten, or sixteen friends wearing matching jerseys and hauling a cooler of snacks, they fall apart fast. With a private vacation home, you get a dedicated living space to gather before the game, a kitchen to prep your own pregame meal or spread, and a backyard or game room to decompress when you get back — without fighting for elevator space with a thousand other fans.

Both Allegiant Stadium and T-Mobile Arena are highly accessible from the neighborhoods where our homes are located. Allegiant sits just off the Strip near Mandalay Bay, and T-Mobile Arena is right on the Las Vegas Boulevard entertainment corridor. Most of our properties are within 10–20 minutes by rideshare, which means you can leave when you want, come back when you want, and never pay for valet parking at a resort.

The Right Home for Large Game-Day Groups

If your squad is on the larger side — think a bachelor party, a fantasy football league trip, or a multi-family tailgate weekend — you'll want a home that has the space to match the energy. Our seven-bedroom All-In Villa with a private theater and karaoke room sleeps up to 16 guests and is genuinely built for this. Pre-game in the living room, do a group watch party in the private theater, then wind down with karaoke after the final buzzer. The private pool means the party stays at the house on the nights you want it to.

For groups of 10 to 12, our Wild Oasis with its custom rock-grotto pool and full game room is one of the most popular game-day properties we manage. The swim-up bar and oversized heated spa make pregaming feel like an event in itself, and the arcade and poker table inside mean you don't need to go anywhere if the night takes a turn toward staying in.

Closer to the Strip, Closer to the Action

Location matters when you're working around event schedules. Properties that sit within 10 minutes of the Strip put you in easy rideshare distance of both venues without the noise and congestion of being directly on Las Vegas Boulevard. Our Mid-Century Modern Escape with its neon game room and indoor and outdoor bars hits that balance well — a stylish adult-oriented home with a private pool, billiards, and a photo-ready aesthetic that suits the whole game-day weekend vibe.

"The best game-day home isn't just close to the stadium — it's the place your group actually wants to come back to."

What to Look for in a Game-Day Rental

Not every property fits every group. Here's what we'd suggest prioritizing when choosing a home for a sports or concert trip to Las Vegas:

Picking Your Venue: Allegiant vs. T-Mobile

Allegiant Stadium hosts the Las Vegas Raiders NFL games as well as major college football matchups and touring concerts including events like Beyoncé and Taylor Swift tours. It seats over 65,000 and is one of the most visually striking stadiums in the country. T-Mobile Arena is the home of the Vegas Golden Knights NHL team and also hosts UFC events, boxing, and high-profile concert tours. It holds around 20,000 and sits directly adjacent to the Park entertainment district, making post-event dining and nightlife easy.

Both venues draw significant crowds, so rideshare surge pricing on event nights is real. We always suggest booking your return ride before the final quarter or last song — or simply plan to grab a bite nearby and let the crowd thin before heading back to the house.

Book Early — Game-Day Weekends Fill Fast

Las Vegas event weekends are among the most competitive travel dates in the country. Raiders home games, Golden Knights playoff runs, and major concert weekends can push hotel rates to extraordinary levels while reducing availability to nearly nothing. Private vacation homes tend to book out well in advance for these weekends, especially the larger properties that accommodate groups of ten or more. If you already know your event dates, booking two to three months out is a reasonable baseline — and for something like a Super Bowl or a marquee concert announcement, even earlier.
